After
damaging their car in a crash at Brockville Speedway just two weeks ago, Dylan
Breen and his team have been working hard back in their shop getting their
recently purchased 2012 TEO car in race condition.
The
car was picked up last week at the TEO shop in New Jersey, and the team has
been stripping parts of the damaged car to bolt on to the new one. Breen hopes to be back in action this coming
Saturday night at Brockville Speedway.
“We
had a pretty hard crash here at Brockville two weeks ago, and we thought we had
it all fixed, only to find out that the rear clip was bent. We were going to get the car down to TEO and
have them put a rear clip on it, but we ended up getting a great deal on a 2012
chassis and we decided to go that route”, says Breen.
In
four events this season, Breen has had some bad luck with motor problems, and a
crash that damaged the car, but he also had his career best sixth place finish
earlier this year, and will be looking to return to form quickly with the new
car. Breen plans to run the rest of the
season at Brockville, and possibly the Sportsman Mr. DIRTcar Series race at
Cornwall in July.
“We
want to race as much as we can, but we will see how it goes over the next few
weeks”, says Breen, referring to the Sportsman tour race at Cornwall. “It has been a tough season, but we will
continue to fight the battle, and keep learning”.
Dylan Breen would like to thank all of the sponsors for their
support for the 2012 racing season. These sponsors are AME Environmental,
