With a new car, a fresh outlook and a brand new season set to get underway, optimism is high Dylan Breen as plans to make his 2013 season debut this coming Friday night at Can Am Motorsports Park in Lafargeville, New York.
Breen did get a strong sixth place finish late in the 2012 season at Can Am, and hopes that a return visit in a newer car will be just what they need to get the season started on a good note. This will be his fourth season in the Sportsman division, and hopes that this year they will be able to find some consistency with their car after switching to a Bicknell Chassis for 2013.
“We have had a tough couple years, trying to get a car that works well for us”, says Breen. “We have had some bad luck with cars and motors, and we are hoping that things will be better this year. I really like the new Bicknell car that we have, and it was fast at our practice session at Merrittville last weekend”.
Breen will run Can Am for the first couple weeks of the season before Brockville Speedway opens for 2013 on Saturday, May 11th. Brockville also has a practice day set for Saturday, May 4th. Breen will also travel to other events throughout the year, and hopes to follow the Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Series and Seaway GM & Performance Sportsman Series this year.
Dylan Breen would like to thank all of the sponsors for their support for the 2013racing season. These include returning sponsors such as AME Environmental, Backyard Fence & Deck, Gananoque Chev Olds, Upper Level Doors, Blueman Coatings, J.T.
